I have some knowledge with makeup. If you need some suggestions or advice on makeup, just ask/post here. Come back within 20 minutes or so to check on my answer to you! I will try my best. Thanks :)
-Arlet You can use powdered blush, mineral foundation, setting powder(pressed or loose), bronzer & highlight powder on your face, so yes it's safe, UNLESS the product says you can't.
-tahleeahh Finding your right shade can be difficult. I suggest going to MAC and ask them if they can color match you. Knowing your MAC shade can help a lot! You can also go to Sephora and ask them if they can help you find your skin shade and undertone. This way if you are trying to find a drugstore foundation shade(since you can't test it), knowing your shade might narrow down the choices/options for you like knowing if you're beige, or if you have yellow or pink undertones etc... Hope this helps.
-Bee Hmm...This is a tough question haha. But if you want a dewy finish, I think you should try to find a foundation that will give you a "glow" after the application. Maybe try L'Oreal True Match Liquid Foundation, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Foundation or NARS Sheer Glow Foundation...I've heard those foundation result in a dewy finish. But you can always go to Sephora and ask for a foundation sample that you are interested in at their store ^.^ And if even you powder afterwards and it still gives you a matte finish, then I'm pretty sure the only way to get the dewy look is to not powder. :\ And for the makeup brand...I think it's all in preference. I personally like Make Up For Ever better. They have quality and quantity products like their foundation, concealers, eyeshadows, and lip products. Good luck!
-Smile Hey there! :) Well, I had the same problem...Asking my parents if I could use makeup. It was difficult for me because my parents are strict(they're asian haha). But I suggest you going to your parents and just simply ask them if you could wear makeup...Or you can make a deal with them like if you get good grades then they should allow you to wear eyeliner...and so on or only starting off with a little makeup like eyeliner and mascara since you are still young for your age. Then when you're 14 or 15, then you can wear tinted moisturizer(your personal preference) but only a little(to get the natural look, not cakey)!
1.When you apply your mascara for the first time, it can be difficult, for me it was. It takes a lot of practice. Make sure to curl your eyelashes first. You then just take the mascara wand & wiggle the mascara onto your lashes from the root to the tip. The "wiggling" can help your lashes not clump together. You can buy a cheap eyelash comb(all are the same) and com
-One More Sun For pale skin, it is difficult to find a foundation to fit your coloring because some brands have way too dark colors for foundation. Maybe you should try tinted moisturizer just to cover any redness or blemishes...I honestly don't think you should hide your freckles...It's what makes you, YOU! :)) But if you want to use a foundation, for drugstore brand, I highly recommend CoverGirl NatureLuxe Foundation(12$). This foundation is very lightweight(feels & looks natural on the skin), and they have a color range for pale skin. You can probably find it at Target and Walmart since it's been out for a while now. For blush, you should try a baby pink or pink.
For your dry skin, always make sure to wash your face before putting on makeup! Maybe you should try exfoliating to get rid of the dry flakes. Then use your moisturizer. I think you should try to find something that is a little more moisturizing for your skin or a little thicker. This happens to me too(the dry flakes) and
