How much ground espresso bean makes a good cookie?

I want to make my normal chocolate chip cookies, but add coffee flavor to it using ground espresso beans (Starbuck's espresso roast). How much do I add to get enough, but not too much coffee flavor?

If you google "coffee-flavored cookies" you'll get a lot of recipes, but I think it depends on how much batter your particular recipes makes so you get the right ratio of flavors. I've seen 2 Tablespoons used in some of the recipes, but they didn't use espresso beans, just instant coffee. Since you also have chocolate chips in the cookies, you don't want to obliterate the chocolate taste. I would try 1 Tablespoon the first time and then adjust it up or down, depending on your taste, for future batches. That sounds like a delicious idea for cookies, by the way!
