Why do the Spurs seem to get so little attention?

The San Antonio Spurs have the best record in basketball by a lot, but they don't seem to get that much media attention. In fact, I hear a lot more about the Clippers (because of Griffin) than about the Spurs. I'm not a Spurs fan or even that much of a basketball fan, I'm just confused by this.

I think it's just about how interesting their games are. You seen Griffin dunking over everyone and I don't know flying to the top of the gym, and you see Spurs they have one of best shooting teams in the league and that doesn't attract many attention by fans .

because americans lose their attention span if somebody with a sneaker contract doesnt do a 15 year old playground style move every other possession

Manu is most under rated player in the NBA right now

people assume its still Duncans team - but Manu has lead them all year to the best record in the league

They should be getting more. I mean they have a crazy record. People find them boring, but I don't find that at all. Just because they aren't constantly dunking, doesn't make them boring.

So little people pick them to win the finals. Even though they have a great chance to win. They have good offense and defense. And a really good coach.
