In soccer, you get 3 for a win and 1 for a draw. What if that's changed to 0 for a 0-0 draw (both lose)?

Is a 0-0 draw really worth rewarding the teams with a point?

You get three points for a win.

And one point for a draw.

Yes, a 0-0 is worth rewarding both teams with ONE point.

Because it is a 0-0 it doesn't mean that the game is boring, can be quite interesting in some cases.

    I like that idea.

0-0 draws giving both teams a point encourages parking the bus, while giving them both 0 if it were to occur would deter that.

i mused also that 0-0 draws are really dissapointing for fans who travelled very far to see their favorite teams and pay good money to see a match that might as well have not been played!!

How about we just leave it the way it is? We are not going to change it just to make Americans happy. We like our game the way it is thank you very much.

Maybe we should tell you how you can make your NFL better.
