thank you cause i thought i was the only one. im still asking questions. was the sex scene with lily real or fake. did the guy really drop her or did she mess up. why did nina drink the drink knowing that lily put something in it. and the scene where she stabs lily was that real or imagined. i guess it was imagined cause lily was very much alive. oh one thing for sure though that teacher is a perv

Yeah, she was so wrapped up about being perfect that she had hallucinations. She was playing both the white and black swan so she almost had like split personalities. Remember the part where they explained that the white swan died because the prince fell in love with the black swan. Well everyone fell in love with Nina with her Black Swan performance and the white swan cannot live then.

The movie was a metaphorical film. Nina is supposed to be pure and innocent just like the White Swan and like the play she is performing, her personality starts to develop into the dark and evil Black Swan. Majority of the scenes were hallucinations. & The sex scene was a dream. She also didn't stab Mila Kunis' character, she thought she did, but she actually stabbed herself. So yes in the end she did die. & The way she would pick at her skin and scratch herself was a form of self mutilation. She had a lot of psychological problems.

she was the only one standing in her way
movies like that are all about " acting ", you could see the intensity build up through out the movie in her face
it was an awesome movie
she deserves an oscar for that
i couldn't get it out of my head for 2 days

yeah but its not like one straight answer. its more how you perceive it. i think it could be explained in a numb er of different ways
