What is this plaster work called?

Older homes sometimes had a decorative plaster moulding surrounding the ceiling light fixtures. I know these are available in reproduction in various materials. What are they called? Would home building centres carry these....OR....where would I search for them?

Any help would be appreciated.

    It decorative plaster and there are reproductions available at many home centers..

    It might be called cornice moulding.
