Have you had a nerve conduction study done before? The EMG & NCS tests? Does it hurt?????
I'm getting these tests done this week on my hands... I read about it and it mentions a needle?!?! Now I am worried it will hurt :/ Thanks!

I have many done on my hands. First they are going to take some hospital tape and wrap a wire around each finger. Then he will tape the inside of of your forearm. What you are going to feel is like a quick shock and it is over. But sometimes you can see your arm or fingers actually move. It doesn't hurt it just scared me a little.The last part might hurt. They took a small needle and put the needle inside the palm part of your thumb. Because there is no muscles in that area it might hurt.I have a few doctors who technique was good that you didn't feel it.

I've had emg done before and it was a waste of time and money. could have gotten better answers asking on line than the dr. gave.
