Your list almost has it perfect... I don't think Muse deserves such a spot though.

Kanye definitely deserves top spot for any hip hop artist. He was a driving force of hip hop throughout the whole decade.

Queens of the Stone Age are the single most consistent hard rock band of the past 10 years.

The Strokes had the most influential rock record... maybe.

Arcade Fire put out what's probably my favorite album of the last 10 years.

The White Stripes are (were* :( )the only band of the whole "Garage Rock Revival" to actually remain relevant for a long time.

Radiohead....... yeah.

Ones I Might Add: Outkast, Gorillaz (or just Damon Albarn himself), Nas, Common, Cunninlynguists, Opeth, Madlib

Devin Townsend is in the Devin Townsend Band, Strapping youthful Lad, Steve Vai, Punky Brüster, IR8, front Line assembly, gray Skies, Caustic theory & Noisescapes. Haha, beat that. Edit- Yeah, he's loopy. I only like his artwork in SYL nevertheless.
