POLL: what the hell is a syntax?

at school. some guy called me a syntax. I don't know what the f**k that is.

    That word takes me back to the early days of computers, when a syntax error meant that you used incorrect language that the computer could not understand. Beyond that, I have not heard this term since the 1980's.

    The only syntax I know is the orderly arrangement of words in a sentence. So, who ever that guy was is.....apparently hes not very bright

    Syntax is the principles and rules for constructing sentences in natural languages.

    syntax is the way you write a sentence/ the order you put words in your sentence. as for whay he called you that, i don't know.

    In scientific college they had to take notes relatively quickly. growing to be a doctor isn't that straightforward now, the fee of their writing messep up their handwriting and that they don't care approximately it after growing to be a doctor.
