Ok! It looks like a football stadium is going to be built in LA!?
So what team is going to move there? My pick is either the Raiders or the Chargers!

Dude,
1. The group wants LA to give them the Convention Center and float a $350,000 bond for them with LA paying the interest.
2. Roski wants a team to commit before he build a stadium, PLUS 40% of the NFL team that moves there.
None of that's gonna happen. LA's bond rating is crap and too expensive. NO owner would give up 40%. The team could build it's own stadium for that deal.
3. NO team will commit to moving to LA until there's a stadium built. That team's attendance would plummet during the 2-3 years that the stadium's being built.
4. The owners know that three teams have already left LA.

Either the Vikings or the Jaguars are moving there. This season, the Jaguars and the Vikings were two teams whose franchises were on the chopping block. It was rumored that neither team would remain where they are currently and would either have to move to disappear from the NFL. Their fan bases aren't there. They're not bringing in enough revenue to sustain a team. By moving to LA, one of those teams hopes to get a stronger fan base.
I hope the Jaguars move there. The LA Jaguars sounds kind of cool.
Great Question.
GO PACK GO!!!

any team as long as it's not the Raiders, but it's still way too early to tell if the NFL will be returning to L.A. for real this time, because L.A. is the Bandwagon, Fairweather fan Capital of America, maybe even the World.

Historically it's been the Raiders... I don't think they've ever been comfortable with being right next door to the 49ers. I'd prefer they expand the league though... More teams... the NFL is awesome. So, I say expand 2 more teams. (one NFC, one AFC) L.A. and Portland. (better chance to improve the "west" divisions of both leagues, which are pretty weak)
Possible Names: The L.A. Stars and the Portland Treehuggers.

Edward Roski, who helped build Staples center, is the main significant investor for the recent stadium to be placed in city of marketplace, CA and named "l. a. Stadium" Edit: Roski owns part of the Lakers and l. a. Kings.

Well its just more confusion on who's going to be the team in LA. Talk is cheap and they've been talking about this for years. I'll laugh if nothing happens.

RAMS.
But if it ever happens it is stupid idea. California is way to in dept. to pay for that. I mean they had to get sponsors for Michael Jacksons funeral because the state couldn't afford it. Now this. It is just dumb.
