Canadian tax question: Carry forward tuition?
Hello, Is there any way to transfer my 2009 carryforward tuition tax credit to a parent even though I have already filed in feb of 2010? Any possible way?

You can't transfer carried forward tuition and education amounts. If you want, and it will help, you can request an adjustment to transfer the credits in the original year for the credits.
To clarify, if you were in school in 2009, and carried forward the tuition and education credits, you can't transfer them in 2010. You can do an adjustment to 2009 to reduce or eliminate the carry forward and transfer the credit to your parent on their 2009 tax return, if that will help. To do that, you would need to do a T1ADJ, re-do the back of your T2202A, and the parent would do a T1ADJ to adjust their return. It would make sense to put all the forms together in one envelope with a cover letter explaining what you're trying to do.

Yes there is. You will need to file an amended return, or use form T1-ADJ . Your parents will also need to amend their returns as well.
