Be patient and just be yourself. Friendship is where a good healthy relationship should start. Keep hanging with him and his friends - if/when he's ready he'll make it more. But, even if he doesn't, we can't have too many friends - especially fun friends that we love to hang out with. Enjoy your time and continue to make him and others in the group laugh - at least you are having fun :)

Maybe he is just too shy and needs you to make a move like to ask him out yourself. Some guys just are so unsure of themselves that they don't want to be rejected even if they know a girl likes them. Its worth a shot.

Maybe he's too shy to ask or feels uncomfortable to ask you. He might just like it that a girl is actually paying attention to him but doesn't really want to get involved.

sounds to me like he has zero confidence...try encouraging him by inviting him to hang out with you and some friends at the mall(make sure there are other guys) and he will warm up and become more self-assured over time...happy dating!!

i think it is because he has never had a gf before and he doesnt know how to ask or what to do in a relantionship. you should get someone to ask him what he thinks about you
