    BROWNIES FROM A CAKE MIX

1 pkg. devils food cake mix

    1 egg

    1/4 c. water

    1/2 c. nuts

Stir this all up - it will be very thick and press the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Try leaving out the water, and reducing the egg. I know that doing that with any cake mix makes fabulous chewy cookies that have that crust like a brownie. Sounds good! Now I want brownies.

Yes, just put the cake mix in a brownie pan, it will taste like cake but will look like brownies.
