Will Danica Patrick resign with Andretti Racing this year or go over to NASCAR?
Last year was less than stellar for Ms Patrick in NASCAR, but the money is there and she is a highly marketable individual. Just for the Go Daddy sponsorship alone resigning Danica would more than pay for the cost of her contract. Which way will she go next year?
After the first answer I guess i phrased the question slightly wrong. 2011 is the last year of Ms Patricks contract in IRL and signing her to another contract this year would insure her driving in IRL for the next few years.

I started watching IRL last year and from what I can tell, she struggles on road courses but she's great on ovals. I think she will be a good driver in NASCAR but she just has to be in it 100% and out of IRL completely. She says NASCAR is fun so I think she likes NASCAR more than IRL.
If she ends up going to NASCAR full time and out of IRL completely I see that she's going to be like Joey Logano. She's going to be like him because she'll be pushed around until she pushes back and she got pushed a lot last year. Maybe she'll start pushing back ones she gets comfortable in stock cars but she needs to start pushing back this year. I'm not saying she's going to even be a champion but she'll be a decent driver once she gets into it full time.

Her contract is with Andretti full time and some Nascar Nationwide races with Jr Motorsports for 2011. Same as last year.
One of the investors with RPM said they hoped to have 3 car's in 2012 and they wouldn't mind signing her to a Cup deal in 2012 if that's where her career went.
I like Danica but I'll watch this year and see if she even deserves to get a full time Nationwide ride much less get a Cup ride.

Probably run the one more year on her IRL contract, then move completely to stock cars. It's just hard to try and run back and forth from one to the other. And I don't think she's as talented as Tony Stewart or JPM, so her transition is going to be harder than it was for those two. JRM should have been more responsible in her driver development and started her out in ARCA or K&N Pro East since she seemed to know how to finish decently right off the bat in those. Top 10's in her only starts in both. But who are we kidding? The only reason JRM signed her is because they needed sponsorship badly. They had to let Kelly Bires go because they didn't want Hellmann's to leave the team.

i desire so. She would not sign autographs for national Guardsmen and ladies, in uniform, on the 2010 4th of July race at Watkins Glen. She is a awful motive force, rude to her team and worst of all Unpatriotic! I specific do no longer think of the NASCAR followers will like her habit. On yet another observe Indy would be missed this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days on the Glen. i desire Indy and WGI can artwork out a deal which will artwork out for the two one in each and every of them so we are in a position to get decrease back on the right music.

She is still signed through 2011 with Andretti Autosport. It says on NASCAR.com that she will race in the first 5 Nationwide races and then go to Indy for some races.
As for 2012, it depends. If she feels she is really improving in NASCAR and has a bright future, then she might go full-time Nationwide or even Cup. But if she feels she can't do well enough to satisfy herself, she'll stick in IndyCar, where she also will not satisfy herself

I believe she still has a year left on her contract with Andretti and will finish it out but will try to continue to learn how to drive stock cars.

I think a cash flow struggling company such as Petty will bring her in just for the dollars she can generate.
