    OK, so German officials ordered 140 pigs slaughtered because they were thought to be over-exposed to dioxin. It is suspected that there was a possible cross-contamination of fats for industrial use creeping into the fats for agricultural use. The pigs were killed as a precautionary measure to keep the meat out of the food chain.
