I was curious for female entering the navy, when at boot camp- do they have to cut their hair short?

I'm curious, do females have to cut their hair short when entering bootcamp for the navy or can the keep it long as long as they keep it in a bun?

    the Navy DOES cut females hair to just above the collar, no buns/braids/securing long hair allowed.

    once you arrive at A school you may begin growing it out, but it must ALWAYS be within regs.

    Everyone gets it cut, just like the men have to get theirs cut.

    Its only shoulder length for the women though so you dont have to worry.

    Not in boot camp. In boot camp, you have to cut it short.
