well it depends on what you said in the message. but for some convo ideas, ask what he likes to do for fun or what his school is like. these may seem like lame starters but they can be the building blocks for better conversation.

I'm a guy don't ask him out the only thing you'll have to do is to chat him on Facebook and make it a regular thing this way he'll eventually ask you out. If you ask him out he'll always look down on you this is how we work.
