If you were asked to solve food waste in your town how would you go about it?

Lawyers and personal injury law as well as health dept. regulations. If someone choked on a chicken bone and died you would be sued for negligent chicken bone removal.

If someone grabs those discarded roses and slaps someone in the face cutting and "disfiguring" my client we have to sue the florist for negligent thorn removal. Think about the hot coffee case and how that was ever allowed in court.

Somehow create competition at each part of the chain of food to get people fed so that the commmunity betters itself as a whole. Create a sense of pride in place unlike the NFL, however, the BBQ can stay. Have churches even come together to make serious food banks and then the next month maybe even all the local banks compete.

From local observations the corruption of the GREEDY is the Destruction of the needy who continue to suffer. The local establishments join in and would rather throw it away than donate or give to someone who is standing outside hungry. I once worked at a florist that insisted at the end of the day to throw bunches of roses & other flowers away (scam to write them off -not damaged of course) and also insisted we put a lock on the City dumpster to keep people from getting them. When they sent me I would stand by it and give them away to people passing because they were to pretty to go in the dumpster I did this everyday during my employment. The corruption I saw there made me Proud to hand those flowers to many who very much appreciated their beauty! Distribution always seems to play a big part in it. The distributor -hmmmm. A plan for a greedy world to committedly & consistently give it up would continue War-we have them going on around the world Hunger/homeless Rising

Establish a system where HEALTHY food wasted by retail food sellers like restaurants & supermarkets can be used to feed people who need it.

The food would have to be tested for being safe, stored and transported.

Maybe hungry ppL could be transported to areas near the retail sellers and eat the salvaged food there.

People eat a lot of meat in developed countries like the US. Well, think about it. It takes a lot to feed the cow you consume, a lot more than it would take for you to just eat the vegtables that the cow ate. If we try to consume less meat, and more fruits / vegtables, this may help. Also, buying local. Locally grown things in farmers markets. hope this helped.
