What are your thoughts about Jerry Sloan stepping down as the Jazz head coach after their lose to Bulls tonite?

Looks like Jerry Sloan has lost his fire, and the coach of the Jazz for some 25 years now is going to retire.

The Jazz did not hold any meetings with the media after the game, and the players would not answer any questions. 

The Jazz have canceled practice for thursday.

It truly is a sad day for Jazz fans.

Nope he won't quit but after boozer just went to chicago with the bulls same team he use to play for as a player beating sloan's jazz 91 to 78 Its not a good feeling feeling betrayed by a player you coached personally guess he will be careful more careful with boozer then he was when the bulls had jordan pippen and rodman when they won NBA titles over his jazz with stockton and karl malone they want to buy the jazz exactly what they did to jerry sloan tonight.

Say I didn't told you so, bulls still own the jazz fess up and bow down to the bulls utah.

Are you serious? WOW, I was out playing basketball until an hour ago and this is first I've heard of this.

Man that's crazy. I never would have guessed he'd retire mid-season. I always thought Jerry would walk away quietly after a season.

Too bad for the Jazz and their fans, he was a really great coach.

It's the first I heard of it.  He signed a 1 year extension about 2 days ago.  Is he stepping down right now, or is he stepping down after next season.  It's not being reported yet on Yahoo.
