Why is my dream self afraid of things...?

And in real life, I'm not afraid of them. Like just now I had a dream that IT the clown was coming out of my bahroom mirror and I was terrified and fell to the ground, the dream was shockingly realistic. But I'm not afraid of clowns at all... Then again I had to pee so maybe it was my minds trick to wake me up to go to the bathroom? That sounds pretty reasonable. Any other insight would be much appreciated.

it's all just your imagination! I have had some of the weirdest/scariest dreams ever and let me tell you none of them have turned out to mean anything or associate with anything in true reality! you have nothing to worry about:) it's just your mind expanding into crazy things!

I honestly think, You don't need to necessarily need to acknowledge you're afraid of something. In order to actually fear it. For example: I've never been in a car accident, So I'm not scared of being in a car accident. I even sometimes see stories on TV of people saying, they were terrified of the car accident they were on, and they claim they are now terrified of driving. I then, as I'm watching them on TV I think to myself "OMG, really?" but then I realize, wait. I've never been in a car accident, so I can't judge. Anyways, Point is. You might be afraid of clowns subconsciously, but you're not fully aware of that consciously so you deny it, and when you get dreams of scary clowns you wake up and say, I'm not scared of them, but in your dreams you are. I personally think that you ARE. Just deep inside. :)

Do you have anything thats troubling you, any problems? Your subconscious brain could be working on things while you're dreaming. Plus, anything can happen when you're a sleep. Not to mention the super realistic vision we get when we're dreaming. All these things could combine to form one scary thing. Just try to resolve your problems, and don't leave things unfinished.
