Opinions needed: Is my book review any good?
I am very new to writing book reviews. In fact, the review I wrote for Lady in Waiting was the first official book review that I have ever done. I am writing these reviews for Blogging for Books which is a part of the Waterbrook Multnomah Publishing Group. I want to write helpful and good reviews to help people choose amazing books to read. Plus if I get the best ratings from the most people then there is always the nice possibility I could win a prize eventually.
So...what I want to know is "Is my book review any good?"
Please leave specific advice and feedback. Thanks!

Your reviews are good, but your ideas seem to jump all over the place because each sentence has something different to it. What I mean is, I think you need to use words to connect your sentences and smoothly move them into a new idea.
For example, in your book review, you mention that you have read more than one book by the mentioned author after saying something about not wanting to read the book. Why? Why do you mention that after saying something about not wanting to read the book? You must include that so that you can safely go into saying that it wasn't the first book you have read by the author (if the author has anything to do with not wanting to read it, if not, you must find another sentence to make your review sound better).
Another thing- you might want to suggest the book to a certain type of reader. What I mean is, you say that the book is amazing, but it is not amazing to everyone. Try adding that that was your opinion and that readers that like to read __________ type of books should read it.
EX- This book was amazing, in my opinion. I'd recommend it to any reader who enjoys romance/mystery novels.
Besides those things, I think you gave a five star review. Keep up the good work! Did I make any sense to you?

Yes, it is good.
Sure you want more though. So, are you writing to my brain or my heart? The first paragraph is quite emotive, very much in keeping with the romantic feel of the subject: so why clutter it with slotted in details like (Brad)? If you were going for my brain of course you'd be comparing the plot structure to classics (old or new); the writing style to some established great.
The second paragraph is all about you and your reading, not the book. As others have said, what will make ME want to read it (or not)?
As I said at the start, it's good review. You're dedicated though and your reviews can become great.
