Who is the first European born Flyweight Champion of the World?

Let's pay tribute to this small fighters who gave us exciting fights just like the fighters in the higher weight class.

This fighter have 37 KO's in his resume and received recognition like the fighters that we admired because of their fighting styles. BA to the first correct answer.

    jimmy wilde, the first official flyweight world champion. he was born in wales.

    Was it another Welshman Percy Jones? He had 27 KOs not 37 and won the World Flyweight title in 1914 beating Bill Ladbury on points.
