The only thing I would like to add is to make sure that you don't have scaleless catfish or snails.. they do not tolerate salt as well so you might have to lower the amount of salt.

I certainly have few concepts. First while doing water ameliorations after needed volume is bumped off take some salt rub on aspects of aquarium tank make advantageous to not get any on inhabitants will harm there slime coat do with care. then fill tank decrease back up and day after today exponential quantities of algae could have disapeared. My 2d sugesstion get a starfish very low value and functional purely 5 money a community fish shops. My starfish does a great job in my tank hes at present 8 inches from each and all the cleansing hes by no ability even had a algae wafer he in simple terms eats off the tank glass. Snails are a sturdy i dea too yet they're sluggish cleaners, shouldn't assume speedy effects from snails. is form of shrimp all they do is sparkling watch the action picture looking nemo and get that form of shrimp .or those thHope this facilitates:)

1 tablespoon for every 5 gallons, so 11 tablespoons. Be sure to raise the temperature to 83º as well. This speeds up the life cycle of ich, then the salt kills the parasite all together.
