    Ah,

Tonight before you go to sleep, apply a generous layer of vaseline or your favorite lip balm or gloss. Vaseline is my pick to be safe. It contain just petrolatum that is a skin protectant and it works by preventing evaporation of moisturize on the lips --> no more chap lips in the morning!

in the morning, use a well-formulated lip balm with SPF that is broad spectrum. Try Alba Bontanica Very Emollient Sunblock Lip Care SPF 25.

Exfoliation helps remove the dead skin cells on the lips. Be careful about exfoliating on new chap lips as it can hurt possibly. You can exfoliate with just sugar. A good trick is to apply a thick/generous layer of vaseline at night, and in the morning, you just wipe your lips and remove the white build-up of dead skin cells and other stuff. You have juicy soft lips.

If you chap lips persists, perhaps it can be an infection of some sort, visit your local physician for professional help.

    Best wishes

First, DO NOT use (sorry makers of it) Blistex or other commonly-sold chapped-lip stick; it's made with unhealthy ingredients. Burt's Bees makes a wonderful and nontoxic chapped-lip product, as do some other natural-ingredient producers. If you think I'm kidding about toxic, do a Google search for cosmetic and body-care toxins...it'll scare you straight. Once your lips get chapped, it's hard to not lick them and that only makes it worse. Using even a little olive oil or other food-grade oil on them frequently works wonders in the absence of one of the nontoxic lip balms. And stay hydrated; make sure you're drinking enough fluids.

Exfoliate your lips. You can buy lip scrubs or you can make them at home. Lush sells really great ones!

Lip balm or lip lip moisturiser or lip conditioner should help

Exfoliate gently with a toothbrush then apply tons of lipbalm!
