Metabolism, fruit diet and breaking the diet?
Lately, I've been eating too much junk, so I really want to break my bad habits by going on a fruit diet. Will this slow my metabolism down? I dance 7-8 hrs a week + ice skating two-three times a week for about half an hour. I was thinking about staying on the diet for 10-14 days.
And if my metabolism slows down, how do I get it back up?
How much and what kind of fruit should I eat for it to be as beneficial as possible?

you haven`t said how much you are overweight. Just remember that fruit contains sugars so you could also put weight on by eating too much of it,considering the amount of exercise you have I would think eating a healthy diet and eating sensibly would be better for you than messing with your body`s metabolism as you could makemore problems for yourself in the future

some fruits can have a high glycaemic index. go for low gi foods to sustain energy. seeing as you do a lot of exercise, this would be important.
