Can I still be a firefighter if I have one less kidney ? ?
My mother has renal failure and will probably be on dialysis for life . If I give her a kidney can I still be a firemen ? I know you cant play contact sports but not sure if i could still become a firefighter please only answers if you have somthing legitiment to say thank you

Interesting question.
Why don't you ask the fire department if they have a policy? Your mom's doctor may also know the answer to this. I would think that it would be fine as long as your kidney function remains good and you recover with full strength to be able to perform as a firefighter.
Hope your mom does well.
