Do u think the Celtics depth is over rated?

Everyone talks about their depth down low but lets go through who they have.

C

Perkins- Good player, can get in foul trouble early though

Shaq- Damaged goods never healthy

Jermaine- Also damaged goods

Erdin- Who?

PF

KG- All time great

Big Baby- good role player

Harangody- blah

SG

Allen- Should i even need to comment

Delonte- good role player, should play good when he comes back

Wafer- ok role player not too good

Daniels- not a great player

PG

Rondo- outstanding

Nate- ok, doesnt look to good this year

now if u add it up they have about 2 good bench players, do u think their depth is over rated?

Update:

Forgot about Pierce but we know he owns that SF spot

Update 2:

@Step Brothers, i didnt ask for a comparison to the Miami Heat. Of course the have a better bench then the Heat

Yes ,It has been from the beginning of the season.

Source(s): I've been saying that all year!Their bench is old and will be little help do to injury's! Sure big baby game them a good game against the heat,But in a 7 game series they will need more than 1 player off their bench!

    No.

Shaq, Perkins, KG, and Big Baby are the only guys that matter up front. J.O. and the other bigs will be used in garbage time or emergencies. Shaq is still a 60% scorer/good post defender for 20 minutes (or slightly more if Perk gets in foul trouble). Perk is an all league post defender for the other 28.

Similarly KG/Big Baby will go 30/20 mins. KG is still great in limited minutes. Big Baby in the other 18-20+ mins is productive and brings energy.

That's just the front court. Rondo, Pierce, Allen are are all top 5 at their positions, so they are covered. Nate is a scorer. He's either off, or he's scoring 15 points. Daniels is expected to play behind Allen or Pierce for a few minutes and defend a little.

That's there main rotation and it's the best in the league. If anyone else contributes, it's a bonus.

No, they are not overrated. How can you ask this question after they just beat the Miami Heat 3 times in a row this season. THe Heat bench is overrated and only scored 8 points yesterday. Boston bench is good and experienced and that is why they win games

Even if you didn't ask for a comparision, I showed you how they made a difference in that game. The Celtics bench is full of experienced veterans and a few good young players like West and Robinson, who all come off of the bench and contribute

between the biggest complications Miami has is that even their commencing 5 isn't exact good. i'm talking on the subject of the middle and ingredient look after positions for sure. whilst huge Z is enormously good, he's not a suited commencing middle and he's getting extremely old. optimistically whilst Chalmers is back to finished wellness, the ingredient look after subject would be solved, yet in elementary terms time will tell. Now with reference to the bench, they do have some somewhat good gamers. James Jones is one, and he's been hitting lots of three suggestions whilst he desires to. whether, they back lack intensity on the middle place off the bench, provided that their no. 2 guy is Anthony, who's in elementary terms taken approximately 12 pictures on the SEASON as much as now. additionally, they have somewhat good gamers like Haslem and Eddie homestead and likewise Mike Miller as quickly as he's back to finished wellness.

I think their front court has enough height to bother other teams and that is the big part of it. They have 18 fouls to give at center, and still have another big body they can toss in their with Erden. Sometimes with Shaq or Jermaine O'neal just having them in the paint is a deterrent to other teams, so I think it works.
