What does one do ... when after forty years Driving, and never a mark on any car..... t?
After driving for over forty years, and having a clean License.... I am put into Hospital ( wrong one ) and on coming out I get a Letter to say my Licence is revoked and I can no longer drive. I only went to get some results from a Biopsy which I had on my Bust owing to a small lump growing, and they took me to a Mental Hospital instead. I had to get a LAWYER to get me out of there, and on coming home, I got this letter to say my License had been taken off me, because of their mistake. I still have not got the results of that test.....as I cannot get there unless I get taxi. I phoned them up but was told that it would not matter what I did.... my licence would not be given back...... Any ideas of what I can do to solve this dilemma for me, when it was their mistake. By the way the Lawyer brought a Doctor with him who passed me fit and sane.I am classed as disabled as well but they said that does not carry any weight, as they would not change their mind. So here I am stuck in the house and cannot go out. I am devastated to say the least. Is there any other avenues I can go down to get me mobile again.

I have thought for years that the general public need protection from some elements in the medical profession. There is a side to the medical profession which can best be described as a medieval secret society.Try this link. or the Patients Association

I am sorry to hear things are not going well, clearly there is more to this story, some disabilites for one reason or another get more attention, I have no clue as to what, when or why you lost your license, but if you cannot drive, there is not much you can do about it. I am sure the letter explained the circumstances, can you write letters to the heads of departments (go over the heads of people on the phone or who you normally talk to, like go to the upper echelon in particular and try to get attention that way? best of luck.

I'M SO SO SORRY FOR YOUR HORRIBLE SITUATION ON GETTING YOU LICENSE REVOKED - THAT'S JUST AWFUL. I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT I WILL PRAY FOR YOU. I KNOW HOW IT IS WITHOUT A CAR - I JUST GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT THIS PAST FRIDAY AND SO I NO LONGER AM ABLE TO DRIVE MY CAR, I PRAY THAT THINGS GET BETTER FOR YOU - THE LORD IS WITH YOU.
