My son forged a doctors note, question please help?
Hi ok if someone forges a letter from a doctor (not a real doctor) let's say they changed the doctors name a little bit and gave it to their school so they can withdraw from school, can they get arrested? I found something on my Childs computer and I'm worried. Is that considered forgery if they created a letter head and all of that with he doctors altered name? Should I call the college? The doctors office? Wait to see what happens??

Not sure what the law is, but he wont get arrested. police wont waste there time with this trust me. They have better things to do.
Don't call anyone, this will embarrass your son.
Talk to him, let him know you have found it, ask him why he did it...
(theres always a bigger picture, he could be getting bullied, dont always think hes just bunking off)

Talk to your son about it. Chances are he won't get caught if he hasn't been already, so the legal matter should be put aside. Talk to him and see why he did it and make sure he doesn't do it again.
