Do you think it is necessary to have a test for Asst. or Assoc. Prof in Engg Colleges to test their knowledge?

You know today, Engg Colleges are flooding but without sufficient number of staff and also without properly qualified staff. Under this situation, what is your opinion about having a test other than GATE to test their knowledge on a regular basis?

    That is a very good idea. Because if they teach the wrong things, systems do not behave the way they teach! One can put together with external experts a "test" with known answers.. to test these "Associate professors".
