What are the signs that a guy friend likes you as more than a friend?

Difficult to judge, if you're good friends then I'd say the chocolates is normal, but if your just casual friends it could mean he has a lot of affection for you. Unless I was good friends with a woman I wouldn't be giving her chocolates because it might give the wrong signals. I would go with your gut feeling, you probably know the answer intuitively but your mind intercepts the feeling and casts doubt all over it. Unless you're close friends with a guy then there is probably a fine line between him being your friend and him being your lover.

Well, I hope he came over at 2AM with your permission. Otherwise I might think he's getting it on both ends, girlfriend first and you second. Personally I thinks he's ridiculous for a 2AM visit with chocolates on Valentine's Day. And, you more ridiculous for accepting him. Look for a more normal guy who is not entangled with girlfriend possible breakups and start fresh. Look for the magic that comes with meeting a new guy and instantly feeling a desire for attraction rather than friendship. I know life isn't always instant attraction but the hormones popping is still real. Be turned on when you meet your beau and keep it that way forever. Friendship can come after and in between.

as a guy, i can say that he does have feelings for you. We are a cheap species and would not spend money just to make someone feel better, i know it would be a nice thing to do and all that but if he didnt like you he wouldnt have done it. He is waiting to know for sure that you like him back before he breaks up with his girlfriend.

sounds like he's keeping you on the back burner for if he has a fall out with his girlfriend. He probably does like you, but isn't willing to leave her yet. Talk to him about it, ask him what's going on with his current girl. If he touches you a lot, constantly touching your shoulder, your hair, other body parts, he probably has a sexual attraction to you. But if he opens up to you and talks about life and what not, then he probably has an actual likeness of you. :) Hope I helped.

well if he brought you a bear at 2am he didnt want to cheer you up he wanted you to think he sweet he definitly likes you.
