1997 lumina car alternator question?
I have the base 3.1L with the 105 amp.... I need a list of other cars that have high output alts that will basically bolt right on with only the pulley swap. I guess the bracket would be alright if it has to be done.... IE... "lumina apv van with 3.8 140amp"
I didnt ask about ordering an alt..... so dont plug companys.... I know I could order a 200 amp for 400 bucks..... I want a 140+ for 20 bucks

nobody on yahoo answers knows anything that a web search can not find... your question needs a scan of a auto parts computer.... I would ask a junkyard or just walk around taking pictures of alt's and then looking up their specs

you should be able to order a high amp. alternator from any auto parts store or supply house like jcwhitney or rockauto etc.
