I`ve been misplacing many things lately. Could this be a psychological issue?

By misplacing, I mean losing... A few months ago I lost my Math text, two weeks ago I lost my keys, yesterday my bus pass and today I opened my bag to find my Ipod missing =( </3

Now, I don't normally lose anything...But the last few months have been strange. The weird things is that it's all USEFUL things, not random junk, like the most important things in my daily life... I'm holding on to my blackberry in fear.

I was thinking maybe this is my subconscious way of rejecting responsibility...? What do you think?

Now please don't give offensive answers and tell me I'm stupid. Tis really worries me, so please be respectful.

I don't really think it's a serious psychological issue, you just don't pay attention to your personal belongings and it results in people taking advantage and stealing from you. I only say this because my mom is the same way, she has been through so many cell phones, she loses a lot of her belongings because she is careless and doesn't pay attention to where she leaves her things. She has has lost her cell phones, keys, purse, I get so mad at her sometimes because she sometimes misplaces some of my things! All you really have to do is try not to carry so many things with you, before you leave the house only put things in your purse that you REALLY need, like your keys, ID, don't take your whole wallet with you, just take whatever $$ you think you'll need for the day, also don't carry your mp3 everywhere you go, or at least not every day. But if you can't live without your mp3 or cell phone, it's really helpful if you have one specific pocket in your purse where you put nothing but one item in there. In my purses, I always, always put my phone in one pocket, my ID or money in a different one. Usually purses have at least two pockets inside, one for your cell phone the other for anything else, and usually at least one zipper pocket .So use those to separate your most valuable belongings. Place all of your valuable belongings in your purse's zipper pocket, that's what I usually do. Also, make it a habit to always, always check your purse for your important belongings before you leave a room, before you leave class, a public bathroom, before you leave the bus, before you leave any room! That way, in case something fell out of your purse you have a better chance of finding it before it's too late.
