Pain in my leg--help please!?

I've had this weird sensation in my leg for a few weeks now, I'm starting to think its maybe a blood clot or something.

I can physically feel a small hard bump on my leg on my lower hamstring (close to my knee). Sometimes when I sit for a long time and stand up it starts to hurt and feels like there is no blood in my leg- I also lost a lot of flexibility in my leg...

But my leg is not swollen or anything which is a common symptom and I'm only 20, I excercise a LOT don't eat muich fat don't smoke or drink so I'm not sure if that's it.

Could you guys tell me what you think it is?

And I don't think it's very serious since I've had it for a while, it's just starting to become somewhat of an annoyance and I'm going to see the doctor this weekend

    It's a good idea to have it checked out.

    If it's muscular, then it might be that the muscle keeps getting a signal to contract and re-contract itself. This can easily happen while sitting when we put our foot slightly behind the knee - that'll cause the muscle behind the leg to contract.

    Animals naturally pandiculate... say what... they actually contract their muscles to allow them to release. They are not stretching, even if it looks that way. Go ahead and arch your back like a cat but pay attention to what it contracting... that's what healthy animals do... they sense tightness and stiffness and take it out.

    For you, I can suggest for you to lie on your belly, then gently bring your heel toward the buttocks, that'll increase the tension behind the knee... then here's the key part... s-l-o-w-l-y release your foot down toward the floor. Then completely rest.

    If you bump into pain or discomfort, then only bend the leg to where it is comfortable and no more.

    Your leg may jump or hesitate on the way down... that's ok and normal if the muscles have been held at high rates of contraction. When you bend the leg again, once again release very slowly and rest... then the next time, lift with less effort and you don't have to bend the leg that much and notice if you can control the release a little better.

    Just a few times is all it takes to reset the nervous system... otherwise you'd see animals holding those supposed stretches for a minute like un-knowing humans do.

    I suffer from leg Pain and it started bout the time I turned 20 I am 27 now I was once told sciatica, read up on it and see if it fits
