I have an intense pain on the back of the neck and pain spreads across the right arm. Fingers have numbness. Skin shows loss of sensitivity. I think I am showing the symptoms of cervical spondylitis. Is anyone out there to suggest me alternate medicine (Yoga, Naturopathy, Homeopathy etc..) for this situation?

I seriously would contact your primary care physician and they should give you an MRI. I was hit by a car a few years ago and wouldn't mess around looking for alternative medicine without having an official diagnosis from a physician. Once you find out what is wrong then discuss with them your options.

If I am right, carpal-tunnel syndrome is your main issue! Which is more common these days & can do the same thing w/ possibly a pinched nerve in your cervical. Neck or spine. It was worse at night, very painful in the thumb & 2 fingers.

Go see an orthopedic surgeon! Pronto... It's Simple surgery to release the nerves in your arm & hand. Press your thumb in the middle inside palm, rt above where the rist bends. Put a little pressure on it? If u have any discomfort, tingling or numbness... there is 75% of your problem. Takes about 2-3 wks to get your strength back. Well worth it. If u wrk on computers get a hand-rest until u can get in to the doc. If u txt alot... take a break from it? My hands still hurt a bit, but oh, not like before... I still have to use pillows to position my neck@ night or my arms go numb. The hazards of air bags. Good luck, hope u have insurance:)

I had similar symptoms following a car accident many years ago; disc prolapse / torn ligaments / muscle spasms type of neck injury. You need to have x-rays before you seek any methods to relieve your pain. I also had debilitating headaches with associated vision problems, caused by tissue inflamation inducing reduced blood supply to the brain. X-rays first then look at your options. Best treatment I received was of a chiropractic nature, and I tried just about everything including pain medication. At home I found playing hot shower water on the back of my neck helped a little too as it encouraged circulation. Also used a TENS machine on occasions. Different people find different methods of treatment help, so it is fairly up to you what works. Took many years for the problem to settle and the headaches happen less frequently, although never truly perfect.

It must be uncomfortable for you to move or work. Since you feel the numbness. there are several reasons why they occur. Fatigue, stress and injury are only some of the causes why you feel such pain. Poor posture also causes neck pain and back pain.

I personally do yoga as my morning routine and meditation before I go to bed. When i meditate, I release stress and all the negative energy that I acquire during the day. There free video tutorials that you can watch for motivation and application of the exercise.

Bad posture can be healed by using a posture brace corrector. it also alleviate different body aches.

You really need to see a doctor. You exercise quite a bit, so it may be something as simple as lateral epicondylitis. But given your age you might be developing Osteo Arthritis or Rheumatoid Arthritis. Also, as odd as it may sound, you might have a hairline stress fracture that you don't even know about. In any case, elbow pain is something that should never be ignored/treated yourself. This is because unlike other parts of the body... Elbow pain is usually the result of blood vessel and/or tendon injury or damage. Your doctor will probably refer you to a DPT or PT.

I get this often, for me, it's due to my anxiety disorder.

I try not to worry and not to look online! it just makes you feel 100 times worse and you read about something then you suddenly have all of the symptoms.

But yeah to the point.. it could just be from stress? try and relax?

Definitely see a doctor if you're worried though.
