Why are Lady Gaga Fans and Britney fans going against each other?

Its something 2 do. brit was tops & ga-ga is stealing spotlight big time. brit fans feel betrayed as their icon is threatened with less than tops. ga-ga fans feel they 2 have the 2 b the followers of 2days top. it ak comes from identifying 2 much with ao icon & not enuff without ones own self. butjust like gas this too shall pass. its this 2day & something else 2morrow. i let it all roll off my back. i like what i like & other's opinions don't matter much nor is it worth starting a fight over. but some people feel differently so it just goes on. and some people just post stuff 4 kicks 2 see if people notice.

Lady Gaga fans think that Britney Spears is going to no longer have fans because she's out. Apparently Gaga is getting all the attention in the pop world and no one cares about Britney Spears. I don't see why people can't just listen to both and shut up.

There is an argument going on which was sparked by the release of the 'Hold It Against Me' video by Britney Spears.

Gaga fans are saying it is inspired by her fashion and her personality and Britney fans are arguing back saying that Britney was around first.

It is really pointless and is going around in circles.
