Bleaching permed hair?

I'm going to bleach my sister's hair, and I've done it before, I have no problems with that, but she got her hair permed four months ago, which makes me kind of nervous. Her hair has since grown out, and she hasn't redone the perm, but are the chemicals still strong enough to mess up the bleach?

your sis has about 2 inches of un-relaxed hair. the rest of it is relaxed. it will be fine but you have to remember that it will be a lot of damage as your putting another chemical on top of another. ask a professional about it before doing it as i know that can cause hair to break off badly.

NO! Your hair will become fragile and break off. Try lemon juice and sit in the sun that's less harmful than the bleach. In the future if you want to bleach your hair grow out the perm only press you hair.

You are asking for disaster all the way, As it is with perm and bleach she has lost all her natural oils from the scalp plus bleaching again you will not get the desired effect.

You need to go in for a few deep oil treatment sessions so as to reduce the damage and help strengthen the roots.
