What albums really snook up on you?

Snuck if you're American, sneaked if you're not. Sorry, correcting papers yet again! :)

I didn't like Bowie's 'Low' very much when I was a kid. Where was the rock that I'd come to expect from Bowie? What were all these instrumentals? Why did they mess around with Bowie's voice so much?

I gradually started liking a cut or maybe two when I was a teenager -- and now, it's maybe my favorite Bowie album (though Aladdin Sane, not from that album, is my favorite Bowie song.)

Zoso from Led Zeppelin because I hadn't really given the full album a listen. I had picked it up for Stairway To Heaven and was done but just recently listened to it front to back and I now have 60 Led Zeppelin songs on my Ipod.

hi steelers-one the first lps to surprise me is Desolation Boulevard-Sweet-back in 1974 when it came out I was hearing Ballroom Blitz I went out and bought the album cause it has the song on it, turned out to be good album

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison, 1st listen hated it, 2nd listen meh ok, 3rd listen I saw it's genius. It's now one of my favorite albums ever.

seasons in the abyss by slayer. Originally I didn't really like it but as I listened to it more it became my favorite slayer album

Neil Young "After The Gold Rush". Hated it at first. Now I dont.
