Dell insperon 1525 wont start up?
My sisters computer wont start up and it says we need a disk to repair it. We don't have the disk because my family got the corrupt computer from a relative that didn't have the disk. We got the computer a new hard drive last year and its been working fine. When we try to start up the computer new it says that somethings wrong with the file \windows\system32\kdcomd11 and that the status is 0xc0000098 since we do not have the installation disk and do not want to buy another new hard drive for this computer what can we do to fix this problem.

Fabian is right. Gave him a thumbs up. I agree TRY last know good. There is VERY little chance this will help, but there is no downside to doing so. Like he said, your next best bet is the OS reinstall.dell will give you a free OEM copy of the windows dvd even if you are out of warranty, but you have to pay shipping and handling which is fair. You would first have to have the computer reregistered under your (or your parents name if your under 18)
If you can't wait, here's another way.
Dell has a hidden recovery partition on the system, it will return it to the way it was when dell shiped it. IF you do this you will lose all your documents, but it will work perfectly. On some models you thit f8 at start up, choose fix my computer, choose language, enter pasword and say YES. On other models it is ctrrl f11 at start up, and just say yes three times. Because it will be like brand new, you'll have to do driver updates if any, microsoft updates and antivirus updates, but other than that, no big deal.
damage to the system 32 file can be caused by ANY change to hardware or software but 99% of it is due to indiscriminate downloading.
there are some linux tools that could help you save your documents, but they are probably too hard for you to use. Besides the bad download would probably just mess up your system again. Same with using dos to get in an restore the files. OR you could pay a shop to do this process for you should be about 150. If you find a college kid, he'd probably do it for 80-100. That "free music" wasn't so free, was it? The simplest thing is the factory restore

You can give a try with this 1st solution.
-While turn on your PC keep hitting F8 button until you see a page name Advanced Boot Menu comes up on the screen and choose the Last Known Good Configuration and press Enter. This should set the computer back to when it was working properly the last time.
If the 1st solution did not solve the problem, then I most probably you need to reinstall your Windows again..

I recommend you to try with Startup Repair or take backup and perform Recovery, recovery will restore the notebook to factory settings.
