If a car can accelerate at 2 m/s^2, what acceleration can it attain if it is towing another car of equal mass?

It's probably really easy but we are just starting out on this whole motion/ newton business.

    well F = MA

    so if you assume the force is constant, then you have

    F = (2M) x (A x .5) in order to keep it equal.

    so the acceleration would have to be 1 m/s^2
