Ignore Krystal. Head lice can't survive anywhere but your head. Buy Headrin (it is like liquid clingfilm, ask your pharmacist), and buy this specialist nit comb that has a circular handle and blades about an inch long.

Okay well you def need to treat all the cloth furnishings in your house such as couch.beds.rugs (vacum really good) with the head lice spray or powder. BOIL all your brushes combs in hot water. Bag all your stuffed animals outside for a couple days and WASH ALL YOUR TOWELS AND LINEN. I would go ahead an give yourself a treatment just to be on the safe side. Lice sucks and if you take the right measures early enough you can get rid of it pretty quick. I wouldn;t accept this child back until you have the mother or father take her to the health department and get a letter of head lice free to make sure you don thave to repeat all this!
