    a = 10 / 2 = 5 m/s^2

    friction force (assuming level surface, no other external forces) Ffric = f m g

    decceleration force F = m a

    decceleration force is the friction force, F = Ffric

    m a = f m g

    m cancels

    a = f g

    f = a/g = 5/10 = 1/2 = coefficient of kinetic friction
