    1. The Snow-Image (if this is your 1st time reading Nathaniel Hawthorne, I would suggest that you experience his short fiction, which was the form he spent the most time practicing and perfecting. Hawthorne was a far better short story writer than he was a novelist). *I would also recommend his collection, Twice-Told Tales. This was the book that started his notoriety as an American writer. His short stories and nonfiction essays are what really keep me loving him and his work.

    2. The Scarlet Letter (this novel is probably his masterpiece, and probably his best effort in the novel form...the exception to the rule).

    I'm a Hawthorne scholar, so I wouldn't steer you wrong.

    3. A Raisin in the Sun (one of the easier, yet still poignant, reads in the Drama form...still a relevant story in the 21st Century, as evidenced by the many that showed up to see the latest revival about three years ago).

    yeah. the e book thief is a few woman in germany for the period of international conflict 2. she is an orphan who lives with foster mothers and dads, and her foster mothers and dads are hiding a jew of their basement. it somewhat is narrated by ability of dying (form of a grim reaper component, yet no longer frightening, somewhat a tremendously cool guy).
