Please help!!! Urgent!!! What is wrong with this girl? 10 points for most specific!!!?
Your Resolved Question: Please help!!! Urgent!!! What is wrong with this girl? 10 points for most specific!!!?
Ok so there is this girl in my class and I concider her my friend. I dont really think she likes me much but I think there might be something wrong with her. Certain things need to be strait and the doors MUST be closed or she has a freakout. She dresses really weird and has an obsession with shiny objects. She loves it when i play with her hair and often asks me childish questions like what's your favorite... She never pays attention to anything for more than a few seconds, often darting her eyes. She almost always taps her foot and gets up sometimes. She tells me about her "friends" that nobody else can see. She is quite anti social, often questioning motives. She will go to extremes to avoid even the most basic human contact. She doesnt really get out much or talk much. She thinks there are people living in her head and sometimes talks to them. She always asks where she is, who i am, and who she is. She has scars lining her wrists and tries to hide them really bad. She sometimes gets a very distant look and won't respond. She has freakouts where she gets really crazy and laughy for NO reason but then she will randomly start throwing stuff and yelling. She twitches a lot and does things she obviously can't help (face and verbal movements). She never sleeps around me, i cant even remember one time. She cleans everything, all the time. She does everything in patterns as well. Please help. Am I just paranoid? Please name specifics. Don't tell me to tell a doctor or adult because once her trust is gone, it is gone. I dont think her parents notice either. They arent home much. 10 points for most specific/helpful!!!

Sounds as if your friend has some serious problems - she may have some form of autism (are you sure her parents haven't noticed ANYTHING odd about her behaviour over the years? They may have, but may be denying there's anything wrong with their daughter - sometimes parents do this because they're afraid they'll be treated differently if they accept their "perfect" daughter isn't after all.)
She also sounds very lonely, so she may feel safe knowing she has one true friend. You could try sitting her down and explaining gently that you're concerned about her, and would like to help her. if she opens up to you, ask her her if she'd like to talk to a teacher, counsellor at the school, or a doctor, and if she says yes, offer to go along with her to support her.
Other things she may have are schizophrenia - the voices and inappropriate laughter, she may have OCD (obsessions) or Tourette's syndrome (tics).
She sounds as though she's really frightened about the behaviours, which she probably can't understand, and the fear ma be making her behaviour worse, so she reall needs professional help, so please try and encourage her to speak to someone who will be able to help her. She'll probabl be relieved that you're there for her and may thank you for being supportive and understanding, when other people would probably walk away, or worse.

It sounds like it could be a few things.
Obsessive compulsive disorder could be the cause of her cleaning, having to do things in patterns, and needing things to be straight and have doors closed. It's not just about cleaning all the time like a lot of people think. It's mostly just repetition of rituals to feel okay with something (such as doing things in patterns).
Paranoid schizophrenia explains why she's antisocial (and also questions the motives of everyone), and also why she hears voices and thinks they exist in her head. The other reason she might avoid human contact and throws stuff/yells could be antisocial personality disorder.
The scars could either be due to depression, or a moment where she didn't realize what she was doing, but considering how she always tries to hide them it sounds like they were self-inflicted.
She could have attention deficit disorder (ADD) from what you mentioned about her not being able to pay attention.
The childish questions could just be her personality, or it could be autism.
The twitches and facial/verbal expressions could be Tourrette's syndrome, which is a disorder of a part of the brain that causes "outbursts" like that.
Her "freakouts" could be related to any or all of the things I just mentioned.

It sounds like she has obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, and mild schizophrenia. As for the distant look, that is actually a type of seizure which many of my family members have. The cuts are a sign of self mutilation, which in most cases goes away on it's own within about five years or so, though you might still want to talk to her about it.

I have some friends that have a little bit of some of these things. Liking everything to be PERFECTLY straight and neat and everything is OCD-Obsessive compulsive disorder. The rest I can't be certain of the names, but the only things wrong with her are disorders. I'm not naming what she has, but examples are mild autism, adhd, etc.You shouldn't worry too bad about it unless it effects you directly. I understand why you would ask, though.

Time will tell. Sit down and talk to her, be there with her. if she forgets things, she could have short term memory loss. she obviously is a neat freak,
maybe ocd? obsessive compulsive disorder

It sounds like she has OCD mixed with ADD... if that's even possible. Along with those she just seems like a fairly odd girl. There's not neccesarily anthing "wrong" with her, she's just different!! That's what I can gather.
