Windows CE Laptop Computer?
Can a netbook that is designed for Windows CE take another operating system? I know they are not powerful but it is going to be for a 9 year old to play on. The laptop has a Windows CE password and I was thinking of formatting the hard drive and installing Windows ME or Windows 98. The laptop came from an auction.

Chances are this is a ARM based processor since that what Windows CE usually runs on. It would have to be an x86 based processor to run other versions of Windows. You may be able to find a Linux distro that runs on it, or you could keep CE. There is some software out there for it.
