Which was more shocking?

Coach Jerry Sloan's sudden retirement during the mid-season or Deron Williams' trade to NJ? Why?

Seriously its a tie between both. Coach Sloan has been coaching the jazz even when I first started to watch the NBA back in 1993 it looks like he's been with the organization since it first started even though that's not true, but Dwill getting traded was also surprising because he was the least player I would think that would get traded

Both were very shocking, but I think Jerry Sloan's sudden retirement was more shocking, he has been with Utah for a long time, great coach, probly the same system since he was coaching, but now what will happen to the team, will it be the same? I don't know...Sad day when Jerry Sloan retired.

Both were very shocking to me, but i say that the trade surprised me the most, mean i knew sloan would have to walk away eventually but d will at pg really looked like it was gonna last a long time and he was like a leader to the jazz so i guess he needs to be that way in NJ too

Jerry Sloan. Why? Because he coached that team for 23 years. LOOONG years. It was just too much of a shock when he suddenly retired like that.
