My tires make a funny noise when I drive it what could it be?
My car makes a "thump thump thump thump" noise near the front driver side tire....also my steering wheel shakes a bit more than it use to...yet as far as I can tell the tire is not rubbing against the front or the body of the car...the aligment seems to be a little off but not major....what could this possibly be?

sounds to me like a belt has slipped it the tire,or there is a knot on the tire.To be one hundred percent certain just change that wheel and tire with the rear one and drive the car and see if you can tell the difference,if so buy a tire. Source(s):

HAVE a save seem on the TIRE. Are you prepared to probable reason a significant twist of destiny if there's a tire subject? there is not something we can do at here. As a mechanic, i could go with to determine the tire. i don't propose you force on a tire that's unknown.

Sounds like you threw or pulled a belt in the tire. Look for any thing not looking right. A bubble the tire pattern shifted Or anything unusual.

Sounds like the cords are separating in the tire. Get it to a shop and have it looked at. Asap! You don't want a blowout while driving!
