I have a dove bird I adopted after she was abandoned, how do I clip her wings?

I know I have to fan out her wings, do I just clip the ones in the middle? Never had to do this before so any help would be greatly appreciated

go to a vet that knows how to do it. or take a pair of scissors that dont have a pointy end. Then just cut the first 4 feathers. you will see the end of the wing bone and then where the feathers start. cut a little more than halfway down from where the feathers coonect to the wing bone

don't just clip the middle one, if she is in any danger, or if she falls, she wont be able to land properly. clip around the first4-6 feathers. each time you clip a feather, kind of like put her on her hand and see if she can fly. if she just lands, instead of goes up then she should be good.
