Tiger Woods ????????

Hey guys I just took a detour over from the snooker & pool Category I just read a post on yahoo's home page ,Do you think Tiger is really in the worst slump in golfing history or is he sandbagging just lying in wait to shove himself up the golfing worlds *** when he gets ready

In pool we call it a hustle

Just a thought

Update:

Go for it if he scares you that bad

Update 2:

Man I thought pool was a fickle sport,His real mistake was getting married in the first place he wasn't ready for it But why are people so concerned about itWhen I look across a pool table at the other player I couldnt care less what he ate for breakfast ,what brand underware if any he is wearing or who what or how many he has waiting in his room,I think golfers hate him so much because they are tired of playing for 2nd place and cant wait for him to leave so they get a shot at the brass ring

But aint my game enjoy

I'm sure he is applying himself the best he can. He is in the middle of another swing change and IMO doesn't have the best swing coach in the world. I think it is simply a matter of time before he emerges again. There is simply too much talent there for this to be the end of it.

People had to have seen this coming: He was absolutely DOMINATE under Butch Harmon's tutelage. He would beat the field by double-digit strokes. He won 8 majors under him. He was one of the best drivers of the ball, near the top of most driving categories (even accuracy). He then decided to "make his swing his own" by switching to Hack Haney. Yes, he won 6 majors under Haney, but he trailed off as Haney's teachings started to take hold. I would say he won 6 majors in spite of Haney's teachings. Side-by-side images of different points of Tiger's swing from 2000 and 2009 (done by Golf magazine) show how sloppy it got under Haney. He honestly looked like a weekend amateur: a too inside takeaway, laid off at the top and a sloppy finish. Compared to his 2000 swing, it's actually quite shocking. Now he's switched to this Sean Foley (the new supposed "it" guru; I liken it to the Stack and Tilt methodology- which turned out to be a fad swing... funny, since Foley teaches a variation of it) and wants... something. Obviously, he didn't make his swing his own under Haney, so I wonder if he wants to do that with Foley's swing.

Do I like what Tiger's done off the course? No, but I also don't care about it AND I don't feel like it has anything to do with his on-course failings. I think he's stupid for leaving Harmon and hasn't been the same since. Which is why he seems more preoccupied with chasing swing theories. Injuries haven't helped- his wrist, his left knee (which snaps straight in his downswing... pretty important) a couple of times and his Achilles have all been operated on. He's had Lasik twice, and the broken tibia and fibula from the last ACL injury (in '08) also add up.

He's gone from being the it golfer to an elite golfer. Still really good, but he's fallen back with the Mickelsons, Els, D. Johnsons, Kaymers, etc., etc. The Law of Averages (or at least, my LOAs) say he'll play long enough that he can get a major or two more, but that's it. His steps back coupled with all the young talent that finally seems to want to step up to the plate will prevent him from breaking Jack's record. Still pretty good, but not the stratospheric number that all of the sycophants seem to think he'll get to.

Why? Is he the first golfer who is spitting on green, throwing clubs or coursing?

I love tiger, because he is real inspiration. Because of him I play golf.

I love to hate tiger but to make golf interesting he needs to go back to zero. Play the golf course hump it til you get that old feeling back

No one cares about Woods any longer...He turned into

a "smelly footnote" within golf history...The sooner he retires...

    the better for golf.
