Would you wear these shoes under your wedding dress?
I am 6'2" and my fiancee is 6'3" and he doesn't care if I am taller than him in heels. However, I don't want to tower over him on our wedding day. I have a model shape, but that doesn't really matter. Anyways, I would like your honest opinion. Also I don't really care for heels that much since they are uncomfortable. Do you think I will be okay wearing these flats under this dress?

This is the wedding dress:
The dress is whiter than it appears in the picture and I'm thinking about getting the shoes in white.
@ Lydia: Those are very pretty shoes, but I wear a size 12. Yet another difficulty with being tall. If anyone can find size 12 shoes that are flat and under $25 could you post a link.
Someone mentioned wearing a slight heel, but even a 1 1/2 in heel will make me taller than my husband, so I would like to them to be flat.

Beautiful dress, indeed. Love the flats as you will never regret being on your feet all day in heels. However, I would get flats in a color to match your dress. But, that is my opinion. If you really want to get black shoes, go ahead.
To your additional details: Oh good, white is the way to go. The moment your feet hit the floor when you wake up on your wedding day it is going to be go, go, go and go some more. You will be standing on your feet almost the entire day, so it is ultra important your feet do not get fatigued. And, therefore, flats are the way to go. As a seamstress who makes wedding gowns, I always contact my brides after the wedding to see how their day went. Seven times out of ten, the brides say they wish they wore more comfortable shoes. I recommend you wear your shoes around your house with a very thick pair of socks to stretch them to fit your foot shape prior to the wedding day. Remember, feet swell as the day goes on and this stretching will accommodate you with the comfort you want on your wedding day.

I've never actually heard of doing flats in a wedding, especially black ones, but given your height I can definitely understand (I'm pretty tall myself). They're definitely really cute shoes!
But honestly, I don't think they're good for a wedding. Maybe the same pair, in white, if you're really set on that design? I'd just try to find a fancier pair of flats, probably in a white or cream color.
Of course, it won't matter too much since the dress is so long and hits the floor, and you won't really be seeing the shoes anyways. Hope this helps & congratulations! :)

What a pretty dress! Sure those shoes would be fine. I wore flats, too, but found some really pretty slingbacks.
Mine were similar to these, but there were cutouts on the vamp of the shoe

I think those shoes are really cute but could end up killing your feet by the end of the day!
You can wear ANYTHING you want to wear!! My friends and family have all worn fun things! I'm wearing RED COWBOY BOOTS!! :)
My best friend wore gold flip flops, another friend wore white ballet shoes and my cousin for purple converse tennis shoes!!
It's your day!! Be comfy and wear whatever you want to wear. They aren't really going to see your shoes anyways.... :)

If you are comfortable in those shoes and they keep you for towering over your husband for the wedding, then it sounds like a good choice..best of luck for your wedding!

How about considering a strappy white sandal with a very low heel? I don;t really care for the shoes.

Personally, I wouldn't wear white shoes but I have no problem with the concept itself. I wore dark purple shoes that looked really similar to these and they were great.

wearing flats is fine but you can do a lot better than payless. you should try to find shoes that match the fabric of your gown.

Which kind of wedding dress will you put on? A long wedding gown with a coach or an ankle or knee size one? It will be alright to put on any kind of at ease footwear in case your costume has a educate. It not, you must making a choice on the footwear in line with the color or form of your gown.

I don't see why they wouldn't be ok. Since its floor length i don't think you would be seeing them to much and since their black, they will match it just fine i think.
Edit: since you might be getting them in white that will work too. Either color would look fine.
